Panorama is a three-level skills series offering a variety of perspectives on content areas in conjunction with highly focused skills practice. There are two strands in the series: a reading strand and a listening strand. Chapter themes extend across the two strands to reinforce ideas and broaden students' horizons.

Panorama Listening includes:

High-interest listening passages that provide an accessible introduction to mainstream curricula.

A vocabulary development strand that recycles key words and reinforces meaning while maximizing acquisition.

Discussion activities and group projects that provide opportunities to analyze and synthesize ideas while reinforcing what students have learned.

Essential listening skills that are presented in an introductory unit to help students tackle the passages and aid comprehension.

A Student audio CD that provides students with the opportunity to revisit one of the listening passages from each unit so they can practice listening on their own, outside the classroom.
